The CALonCD ROM contains nine Section 63 dental computer assisted learning applications, written by some of the nation's leading dental experts. These apps - known as CAL programs - were written using various versions of Asymetrix Toolbook, and originally distributed on 90mm/3.5" floppy disk.
The idea of this CD ROM was to collect all the available floppy-bound CAL programs on one CD, complete with a simple, yet versatile installer wizard. The Wessex Wizard CAL installer program gives you the choice of installing each CAL program to run from CD or from your computer's hard disk. Naturally, we recommend installing CAL to run from CD. It takes seconds to install, and requires only a minimal amount of hard disk space.
Creating a CAL program involves a huge amount of work. CAL developers have burned tanker loads of midnight oil in order to create these programs. CAL Compilation is a fast, reliable and manoeuvrable vehicle - a well engineered family estate car - designed to deliver these programs safely to the people for whom they were intended.

The CD does NOT make any changes to your computer's "*.INI" files NOR does it write to the system registry in Windows 95/NT. Existing installations of Toolbook or Multimedia Toolbook are unaffected by this CD.
